my manac prof sings to me.." thoongaadhe thambi thoongadhe" after the manac lecture where he caught me in a state of blissful sleep...
T-Nite is going on.. (T-Talent).. Sleep is unheard of these days, except in the belowdiscussed situations..
Today was crucifying day..
3 lectures, 3 professors. 3 hours.
and 3 times. i got caught by the professor for sleeping in class.
First it was HRM.
Monday morning dark blues, i am driftin off, when a missile in the guise of a chalkpiece thuds into me. I went out and washed my face, with the prof thankfully taking it lightly, it being the first time i have been "caught napping" in his class..
WAC then.
As usual. The lady speaks so melodiously, almost like an air hostess, and wen it happened to me again, she said the usual "Girrish, Girrish, wake up...". and i did. till the end of class..
OM last.
I was sleepin open mouthed from wat i remember, and the prof must have called out to me twice or something ,coz wen i did hear him finally, it was a really loud "GIRISH! WAKE UP SOMEHOW!!!"... Thanking the heavens that he happened to be in a really good mood too, coz he was smiling and laughing away when i was lookin on, not knowing, yet again, wat expression to wear on my face...
Here is the clincher, and the signature of his "beyond-all-that"ness.
"Girish has been conveniently sleeping in at least SEVEN of the last 10 lectures..." laughter. and i laughed along too.. How magnanimous of him to abstain from disturbing my diurnal dreams for seven whole lectures.. Am still thankin God..
Which reminds me, i really have to catch some sleep in watever lil time i get now.. and hopefully stay awake when it matters...

as a matter of fact, as i was reading this blog even i thought of u'r previuos post even b4 u mentioned it.
and i also remembred gud ol' school days, where Brandy sang and i slept... and another day when all of us were sleeping even b4 she steps into class! did we get on her nerves or wat!
welll i dint know IIM trains in this subject as well ;-)

I sure am unearthing quite a few facts about myself hitherto unknown to me...
The only thin that I am known for here at IIMB is that I am the BEST SLEEPER...people have downright openmouthed awe for my openmouthed almost slushed style of sleeping every hour every day in class...usually guys n gals come to me after class n say...
"How's it that u manage to open eyes jus wen that prof is lookin ur way...cus u have no idea of wats goin on in class...."...
Infact one day what happened was....A girl had come on stage picked chits and they had played a probability game...urs zzzzzly was blissfully asleep...wen we guys were studyin that game as a case for exam...i realized such a thin had happened for one hour durin a QM class....
its been 4 days since i slept for any period t>2 hrs......and havent slept the last 2 days straight...so it all looks like tomorrow n fridays classes are the chances for me to make up on lost opportunities....
