A small someone...

April 22nd, 2006: Saturday 2330 hours

Girish was alone at home, watching Rang De Basanti on a local cable channel, when Geela, Kuchi, Bancho and LapeT returned home after having collectively boozed for 7100 bucks that day.
Barely alive, it was purely to see if Bancho could still think straight that Girish needled him on the pointlessness of a film like Ice Age (which the abovementioned 4 had watched earlier that day, when Girish was busy at home playing soccer with schoolkids), as compared to a Rang De Basanti.
What started there, went on to become EASILY one of the most meaningful and passionate conversations I have ever had. I still cannot believe 4 men as drunk as that could make SO MUCH SENSE.
We talked about the indian freedom struggle, conservative bastardly risk averse south indians, the state of the economy, the andaman cellular jails, the british system, law enforcement, student politics and so on and so forth. After these guys had downed 19 pitchers of alcohol. The conversation lasted 4 straight hours, and I personally have not heard stuff more meaningful ever.
The outcome, though, is simple.

I decided to coin wat i call the :
------
"Small resolutions of a small someone"
1. I shall NOT, pay or accept a bribe.
2. I shall NOT travel ticketless
3. I shall NOT spit/litter in public places
------
You are free to copy paste this onto your blog/whatever.However, I do not expect you to.This blog entry is just my way of giving expression to an emotion felt so deeply, that I thought should not just die away.

Sometimes, a small someone counts.

Idhu un resolution mattum thaana illa, thanni thotti thedina kannukuttingalodathuma?
Bcos it is really surprising to discover blood rushing through the grey matter trigger so many words of sense even when the senses themselves aren't as triggered.
Anyways kudigaaran pechu vidinja pogama irundha seri.
BTW RDB'a Cable channella ellam pottuputtaingala? Can u smell the need for another resolution here?

Though the kudigaaran pechu was wat got me there. Trust me, that was one helluva sensible conversation. caught me totally off guard.
