God has no music sense...

Life should have songs. and a background score.
It sucks without these....
Totally.
Is God a nyaanasooNyam?

A small someone...

April 22nd, 2006: Saturday 2330 hours

Girish was alone at home, watching Rang De Basanti on a local cable channel, when Geela, Kuchi, Bancho and LapeT returned home after having collectively boozed for 7100 bucks that day.
Barely alive, it was purely to see if Bancho could still think straight that Girish needled him on the pointlessness of a film like Ice Age (which the abovementioned 4 had watched earlier that day, when Girish was busy at home playing soccer with schoolkids), as compared to a Rang De Basanti.
What started there, went on to become EASILY one of the most meaningful and passionate conversations I have ever had. I still cannot believe 4 men as drunk as that could make SO MUCH SENSE.
We talked about the indian freedom struggle, conservative bastardly risk averse south indians, the state of the economy, the andaman cellular jails, the british system, law enforcement, student politics and so on and so forth. After these guys had downed 19 pitchers of alcohol. The conversation lasted 4 straight hours, and I personally have not heard stuff more meaningful ever.
The outcome, though, is simple.

I decided to coin wat i call the :
------
"Small resolutions of a small someone"
1. I shall NOT, pay or accept a bribe.
2. I shall NOT travel ticketless
3. I shall NOT spit/litter in public places
------
You are free to copy paste this onto your blog/whatever.However, I do not expect you to.This blog entry is just my way of giving expression to an emotion felt so deeply, that I thought should not just die away.

Sometimes, a small someone counts.

Vaishnav Janato..

The post has nothing to do with the sentiments expressed in the title.. Jus that vaishnav janato happens to be the song playing on my comp now.. (well, that is actually because I watched WATER yesterday and was quite amazed by Rahman's work in the film.. and the sudden prick in the conscience to do justice to the music of the film...)
And this blog entry is a product of more me having no clue what to do with less than 3 hours to go before i flit off to mumbai for my summers. Thank God for that, coz Ahmedabad is turning out to be quite a fryin pan for the past week or so.. and i mean literally.
PGP1 is now a thing of the past, and life suddenly looks beautiful, though I will miss Section A, and will miss some of my tucchas.
In Bombay, i aint asking for too many things. Just solid weekend holidays. Trips to Chennai and Pune are top priority, and god shalt not let Mankind down (cccf : Dbab).
Mankind with be droppin anchor with God, Devil and a few other noblemen down at Bombay, a la the friends of FRIENDS fame... (Winamp now switched to Tears in heaven, eric clapton..)
**Have been sittin in front of the comp, swaying, for 5 mins now, not knowing what to write**.
Thats become a staple feature lately.. not knowing what to do. I find it happening too frequently of late.. Hmmm...
Oh Finally, i realised what could possibly be a point behind writing this entry.. to kinda inform junta that i might probably not be online as frequently as I am here.
Job's done.
Take care till then.
and wish me luck!
ps :: All you guys in Chennai, J, BK, Makki.. @#$%^&*&^%$#@
