Silent Symphonies...

This is a tribute to two of the most delightful pieces of background scores ever composed in the history of Indian cinema. No wonder that both scores belong to the same film, made by the greatest indian filmmaker, music scored by the greatest indian composer. (And i entertain no arguments on both issues). Which is why this film has now usurped nayagan's place as my favorite film ever. For people who still have not guessed, i dont intend lettin out names here. You have to be an alien to tamil music to be still in the dark...

The second of the ringtones has found me a new best friend, and my cousin who happened to be with me while i was actually composing the ringtone thinks i am a genius. Little does she know where the real genius lies. But i am sure she does..
